Phoenix Voshito

On April 12th we held a one-day optometry clinic (Voshito) for refugees re-settling in Phoenix, in association with the International Refugee Committee (IRC) and other organizations serving refugee populations. IRC supplied transportation for patients from outside Glendale.

We provided exams to about 75 people with the help of over 40 volunteers. 29 individuals were prescribed corrective eyeglasses, five received reading glasses, and fourteen were referred to the Midwestern Eye Institute for comprehensive evaluations.
